This week has been a pretty busy one filled with smartphone launches, and news of upcoming phones. iQOO launched the Neo 9 Pro smartphone in India, while the Xiaomi 14 Ultra finally made its debut. Realme also announced the launch date of the Realme 12+ that’s been showing up on several leaks. 

Nothing Phone (2a) is one highly anticipated smartphone, and the brand revealed its chipset details earlier this week. OnePlus also announced a full refund on the 12R for those who aren’t happy with the fact that it doesn’t have UFS 4.0.

iQOO Neo 9 Pro launched in India

iQOO Neo 9 Pro launched at a starting price of Rs 35,999 for the base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It comes in two more variants of 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB. The smartphone features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED 120Hz display, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, 5,160mAh battery, and 120W fast charging support.

Nothing Phone (2a) is officially confirmed to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro chipset. Furthermore, the phone will be paired with 12GB RAM and 8GB of virtual RAM support. Renders of the Nothing Phone (2a) also leaked online showing a centre-positioned punch-hole selfie camera, and symmetrical bezels. It also has a boxy chassis with rounded corners.

Realme 12+ 5G India launch date officially revealed

Realme 12+ 5G India launch date has been officially revealed by the company. The smartphone will launch in India on March 6th at 12 PM IST. It will debut first in Malaysia on February 29th. Realme 12+ is confirmed to feature the 50MP Sony LYT600 sensor with OIS support and a 2x in-sensor zoom, an IP54 rating, and Rainwater Smart Touch. An all-new Snap Portrait System, which is the first custom dynamic portrait capture system on a smartphone is also confirmed for the Realme 12+. 

Xiaomi-14-Ultra

Xiaomi 14 Ultra goes official

Xiaomi 14 Ultra also made its debut as the latest flagship phone from the brand. It has a starting price of RMB 6,499 (approx Rs 74,900) in China. It has a 6.73-inch QHD+ LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, and Android 14-based HyperOS. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra also packs a 5,300mAh battery with 90W wired charging and 80W wireless charging support.

OnePlus 12R refund

OnePlus had made a mistake during the 12R saying that it has UFS 4.0, when it actually has UFS 3.1. To make up for its mistake, the brand is offering a full refund on the OnePlus 12R 256GB variant until March 16th. So anyone who purchased the device can return it and get a full refund.
