5 reasons not to buy iQOO Neo 9 Pro

Boring design

The iQOO Neo 9 Pro design look quite bland and uninspiring. The black colour variant of the smartphone sports a plastic build with a satin-like finish on the backpanel. The Fiery Red colour variant has a began leather back but the red and white combination is too flashy.

No headphone jack

The iQOO Neo 9 Pro doesn't have a 3.5mm headphone jack. This means you will either have to get a Type-C to 3.5mm dongle or rely on Bluetooth earphones/headphones.

Average 8MP ultra-wide Camera

While the iQOO Neo Pro features a promising 50MP primary camera, its 8MP ultra-wide camera quite average. The images it captures lack both sharpness and details.

Bloatware

The iQOO Neo 9 Pro runs on FunTouchOS 14 based on Android 14. While the software is feature-rich, it also has a lot of bloatware. If you're looking for a relatively cleaner software experince, the OnePlus 12R could be a better choice.

Limited Software Support

Another problem with iQOO Neo 9 Pro's software is it limited software updates. The device is only eligible for three years of major OS updates. While this isn't a deal breaker, longer software support could've been better to  compete with the companies like Samsung and Google.
