The Realme 12 Pro has a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate which offers an immersive viewing experience. Unfortunately, the peak brightness is only 800 nits which causes ligibility issues outdoors.
Processor could have been better
The Realme 12 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. While it is a decent processor, there are other devices with a lower price tag that offer better performance due to better processors.
Poor Ultrawide Camera
The Realme 12 Pro features a a 8MP ultrawide camera. It has a 112-degree FOV (field of view). However, the images shot in the ultrawide mode are underwhelming.
Video stability needs improvement
According to Realme, the primary and ultrawide cameras feature OIS, which is said to to improve the videography output by providing stability. However, we didn’t find the videos to be stable.
Bloatware
The Realme 12 Pro runs on Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14, which offers several useful features. However, it comes preloaded with a number of third-party apps aka bloatware.
